Details

As the saying goes, two museums are better than one! With our Louvre and Orsay Private Combo tour, one of our certified guides will lead you through two of Paris's most iconic museums.

Embark on a journey that spans centuries, from Ancient Greece to the colorful world of 19th-century Impressionism.

On this 5.5-hour guided tour you'll start your day with a deep dive into the Louvre Museum. From the incredible artistry of Ancient Greek sculptures to the drama of 19th-century masters like Delacroix, you'll uncover the stories behind some of the world's most famous works. Discover why the Mona Lisa truly deserves her fame, how the Venus de Milo lost her arms, and what connects the Winged Victory of Samothrace to a modern sneaker brand.

After a break for lunch, cross the Seine to the Musée d'Orsay, where you'll explore the vibrant and revolutionary world of Impressionism. Spend time with masterpieces by Ingres, Monet, and Degas. Admire Manet's scandalous paintings: Olympia and Luncheon on the Grass. Marvel at Renoir's quintessentially Impressionist Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette — and be moved by Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhône. By the end of the tour, you'll see why Paris is celebrated as the art capital of the world.

Informative and Interesting

My husband and I had a great time at the Louvre today. The guide for our semi-private tour, Manu (he has a master’s degree in art and a master’s degree in literature) was informed, interesting, and enthusiastic as he guided us and 4 other guests through the Louvre. Without him we would have been lost amongst this collection of renowned antiquities/art.

Full Day at the Museums

Wow! What an incredible experience touring two of the world's most famous museums. Our guide Julien was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. He spent just the right amount of time educating us on the various works, and he also knew when to move us along to maximize our time. Two museums in one day is a lot of walking and standing, but it was worth it, even if the feet protested a bit. Well done, Julien and Babylon Tours! Thanks for a great day.

Unforgettable Louvre Experience with a Fantastic Guide

Our guided tour of the Louvre with Julian was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about history, engaging in the way he told the stories, and always ready to answer questions or help us navigate the museum. Thanks to his guidance, we were able to make the most of our time and see around 30,000 of the museum’s iconic works in just 2 hours and 45 minutes — something that would have been impossible on our own.The exclusive tour was worth every cent, not only because it saved us so much time but also because it allowed us to truly...
