Juan Carlos led our small group tour of the Louvre, and he was AMAZING! First of all he was very easy to find, since the directions were so detailed and clear, he provided each of us with a small ear piece that was connected to his microphone channel so that we could clearly hear him at all times during our tour. Juan Carlos was SUPER knowledgeable of all the French history in the museum and he was always able to answer our questions to help us understand all the history we were being exposed to! Florent was our guide and was wonderful. My husband and I saw many beautiful works with interesting background from Florent plus humor! Easy to find him by Louis XIV statue and quickly moving through check in to start under the pyramid starting with a Sphinx and ending with statues by Michelangelo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our semi private Louvre tour this morning with Christophe. He was so engaging, friendly and incredibly informative. We can’t imagine visiting the Louvre without his expertise and knowledge. He provided so much historical context as well as key concepts and items to see in each item on display - if you can request a guide, Christophe should be your choice without question!

Kotryna, the tour guide was a delight! So knowledgeable and brought a charming wit to the tour. The Louvre had a late start but our guide’s reassurance and potential plan b was comforting and so we waited to see if they would open, which they did! Her guidance through the louvre was unmatched and her storytelling behind the most well known artworks was so insightful and well told. My mother, my husband, and I did a private tour at 5pm on a Friday with Marcel as our guide. It was amazing - well worth the cost of a private tour. Marcel has a Master’s degree in art and shared both his knowledge and his passion with us. We used ear pieces to hear him, which really helped, even though it wasn’t very crowded. My husband and I plan to return and will ask for Marcel specifically.
