Details

Thomas Jefferson once said, “A walk about Paris will provide lessons in history, beauty, and in the point of life” and we couldn't agree more!

On our 2.5-hour guided tour through the center of the city of lights, you'll begin your day with the newly restored Notre-Dame Cathedral before exploring the Île de la Cité, the historic heart of Paris and the city's birthplace.

Cross the iconic Pont Neuf, Paris's oldest bridge, and enjoy a stroll along the River Seine as your guide points out the landmarks that line its banks. Then, pass through the Louvre courtyards and the elegant Tuileries Gardens, where you can admire their manicured flower beds. From here, you'll uncover the dramatic history of Place de la Concorde, infamous for the guillotine that claimed the lives of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution.

Throughout the tour, you'll also hear captivating tales of legendary figures like Napoleon Bonaparte, Louis XIV, and Henri IV, while discovering insider tips about Paris' hidden gems. By the end, you'll have gained both a deeper appreciation for the city's history and the confidence to continue exploring on your own!

A 9th generation Parisian guiding us through the history of his city, it does not get more authentic

François, our guide, is very knowledgeable and funny, and we were able to learn many new things about Paris and the history of that fascinating city (from the Celtic age to the French Revolution). Time passed too quickly. It was nice to see how your guides interacted with the group, creating a very close connection with us. We loved your humor and enjoyed every single minute. Never has a 30-minute wait in a queue been so informative and funny. We really hope to meet you again. :)

Great Experience!

I found this tour throughly enjoyable and interesting. Our guide Eden was excellent- she provided a brief but informative history of the area prior to the walking onset of the tour and proceeded to guide us through Notre Dame and other points of interest with knowledge and humor. BTW, her English was virtually perfect - I thought she was American! I highly recommend this tour and Eden for your consideration.

She has a lovely personality and a gentle, kind way of leading us to various parts of Paris. Tamari has excellent communication skills and answers questions really well. She’s the best.

Best Tour Guide We’ve Had In Europe!

We have been traveling Europe for the last 3 summers with our school aged children and we’ve met some wonderful tour guides and yet still both my husband and I agreed that Georgia was hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. She was so engaging and so informative that she reminded me of a favorite teacher. My nearly nine year old daughter also said Georgia was funny, and really fun and she learned a lot!
