Our guide Marta completely changed the way we look at art forever! The reason we decided to book a guided tour was that we enjoy visiting museums however ~ what am I looking at? What is it saying? What is the significance of this piece at the time? … And so many more questions go unanswered. Marta provided details and the history throughout the museum in chronological order that completely changed the way we look at art forever. Our guide Beatrix provided a very thorough entertaining tour through the collection. She set the stage and progression of the styles of art. It was a great balance to accommodate a wide range of knowledge of attendees. We highly recommend this tour and Beatrix in particular! To see Guernica and other masterpieces up close is incredibly moving!

What a great tour of the Reina Sofia museum! The tour guide, Beatriz, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging about the museum’s history, numerous artists, and the magnificent art. An experienced guide like Beatriz is essential for a thorough viewing and appreciation of Picasso’s Guernica. The guide also was very adept at showcasing the masterpieces at this wonderful museum and weaving in a discussion of the various artistic movements reflected in the work (e.g. cubism, magic realism, etc.). Highly recommended tour!

Alphonso was outstanding. He could be the curator of the museum his knowledge was so vast. We highly recommend this tour and him if you don’t want to walk around the museum just guessing at the importance of what you are seeing. His presentations encompass history, culture, politics and of course the artists, their background, works and cultural impact. Great time and tour!

We took the the tour with Almu. First of all she saved us a lot of time and not getting wet with rain. We did not have to wait in line. The tour was phenomenal. Almu's studies in art history and working at museum were so beneficial. We learned so much and subject and art came alive. I learned so much more than if I just took audio tour or walked around the museum. We loved Almu.

Of the many tours of this museum, we chose this well-rated one specifically because it was guaranteed to be a very small group. Lucky for us it turned out to be just myself and my wife. Also, we were lucky to have Rosita M as our guide. Not only is she extraordinarily knowledgeable about the art on the tour - she is effervescent in her enthusiasm about it and teaching us about what we were seeing. The tour was excellent and we can strongly recommend Rosita as a guide.

Andrea was an excellent guide! She could not have been more knowledgeable, enthusiatic, and more committed to the quality of our Reina Sofia experience. We learned so much because of the depth of her art history knowledge. She linked various periods together with excellent examples. We wish she could accompany us to every Spanish art museum we hope to visit!

We had a private tour of the Reina Sofia Museum and also the Museo del Prado. Our guide was Marta and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about both the artwork, the city and the history. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Marta, was an amazing knowledgeable guide and both myself and my friend know a lot about art. Not only did she know the subject but her comments about history were extremely useful to understand the context and the time when the painter lived. She made our visit to the Reina Sofia Museum an amazing experience.

Our guide was exceptionally well prepared to give a wonderful tour of this remarkable museum. We started in the gardens to better understand the building itself, then took a deep dive into the transformation of prominent Spanish artists in the first half of the 20th Century. From Dali and Miro to Picasso, Santos and many others, we learned how and why their work evolved, and how the politics of the time influenced their work.Our tour culminated with the Guernica - a work so complex and wonderful we appreciated the skillful explanation of Almudena, our guide.

Ana Muñoz our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and we truly enjoyed her company. She contacted us ahead of our tour and sent us her location so we knew exactly where to meet her. The visit was filled with chronological history, facts, good conversation, and context of the main master pieces in the museum.
