Carola was the most wonderful guide, we learnt so much in a fun and interesting way. My two daughters (11 &13) were absolutely thrilled to find out things about the great painter and really engaged and interacted with Carola. We all found out things we hadn’t known about Van Gogh and would highly recommend Carola to any families looking to visit the museum in Amsterdam. Our tour guide Clare was wonderful. She is passionate about Van Gogh and provided great insight about his art and life. I'm not not much of an art appreciator, but really enjoyed the tour with Clare and being in a small group. It was nice to be with someone knowledgeable and able to move seamlessly through the exhibit. One tip, only bring what you need as bags, backpacks, etc. all need to be put into lockers.

Anna & the Van Gogh museum were the highlight of our four days in Amsterdam! Cannot recommend her highly enough—-it’s really a shame you don’t get to pick your tour guide. When you pay big bucks for a guide, you are hoping that they can make the experience memorable—that you will come away with new knowledge or understanding that you wouldn’t have gotten on your own, to make it truly memorable. Yes, I realize that’s a high bar. I can honestly say Anna got us there. I’ve done probably 6 or 8 guided museum tours in the last 2-3 years....
