Our tour with James was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable and got into the queue early so we were one of the first in line. We upgraded to have it be a private tour with just myself and my husband and it was totally worth it. We got to see and hear very interesting. facts and details about the museum and then had time to wander around when the tour concluded. I would highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky, you’ll have James as your guide!

James was the perfect guide on the tour. The museum is always packed, and the number of exhibits is overwhelming. He navigated us swiftly to catch the "greatest hits" of the museum, while allowing time for questions and photos. He was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and interesting. I highly recommend!

Sheldon was amazing… note the British museum is HUGE. On the tour you will see a little less but learn more. He has a delightful personality and is great a story teller that provides honest perspective on what you see and how it got to the museum.

Having a guy is essential to understand the context of extensive exhibits at the museum. "Guy the Guide" exuded pride and passion for the museum and for Great Britain. His thorough knowledge sprinkled with a little bit of British humor brought the museum to life! Going with a small tour is important because the large groups are restricted from certain rooms. If you plan on visiting the British museum, I highly recommend this tour to make the most of your visit.

Great time with our guide, Ivo. Very knowledgeable across a number of subjects, gave us a broad survey of various areas of the British Museum. Was a pleasure to talk with, answered the kids questions readily, even on things he wasn’t planning to guide us on. Also wasn’t rushing out at the end and took a couple extra minutes with us. Overall great experience.

We had a wonderful tour of the British Museum and the National Gallery by Mathilda. She was very well informed, personable and spoke with passion and interest. Both venues have so much to see but Mathilda gave us a good overview and then focused with great knowledge on many key parts of both. We recommend the tour and Mathilda as a guide!Erik and Hope

We did both the British museum and National gallery in one day, lot of walking, there is an hour in-between the two tours, Wesley our tour guide, he was amazing, very knowledgeable, highly recommended tour.

Matilda was an AMAZING tour guide. She started by asking what we wanted to see or was interested in and then personalized the tour based on that. She was entertaining, intelligent and well spoken about all the pieces we viewed during the tour.
