Our guided tour was wonderful. Having a knowledgeable guide was essential as there is simply so much to see, and our guide, Jake, was excellent. He has an incredible knowledge of the museum, and explained their history of the museum, including its founding, changes, and controversies. He guided us through, and showed some of the most significant objects, and explained their creation and history to in great depth. This tour was very enjoyable and worth experiencing.

This tour was outstanding. Steph was our incredible tour guide. If she had been my history teacher when I was in school, I would have become a history major! She was extremely knowledgeable , fun and entertaining for adults and our 8 and 17 year olds. I cannot recommend this tour and Steph enough. Definitely a highlight of our trip! Thank you!!!

James was very knowledgeable but even before the tour started he reached out to make sure we knew where to meet as my phone number was wrong on the ticket. He guided 5 of us through the crowded galleries and shared his enthusiasm on many different topics and works of art. One of our party fell ill and he coordinated efforts to take care of her and then continued on our tour even though the 2.5 hours was up. Very well done. I'm not sure how I could have enjoyed this huge museum and collection without his guidance.

Andy L. was a very good guide. Smart, engaging and very knowledgeable. His credentials for being a tour guide were such that he put everything we saw into a logical and geopolitical context and perspective. You'd need a week to see the whole museum so 2 hours barely scratched the surface but his insights and tips on where to go after the tour ended were invaluable.
