Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Babylon Tours, we are committed to delivering exceptional experiences while maintaining fairness and transparency in our operations. The following Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings, including travel agents, resellers and any other third party website, unless otherwise specified.
For the avoidance of doubt, all times, deadlines, and time-based references set forth in this Cancellation & Refund Policy shall be interpreted according to the local time of the destination where the relevant tour or service is scheduled to take place.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy
Full Refund: Customers may cancel their tour up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour start time for a full refund. 
No Refund: Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled tour start time is non-refundable.
No Show: Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled tour time will be considered a no show and will not qualify for a refund.

2. Rescheduling Policy
Free Rescheduling: Customers may reschedule their tour at no additional charge if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Late Rescheduling Fee: Any reschedule request made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will incur a fee to cover operational costs.

3. Third-Party Bookings
If your booking was made through a third-party website (e.g., an online travel agency or any other reseller), you must contact the third party directly to request cancellation or modification. Babylon Tours is unable to process cancellations or refunds for third-party bookings. Our official website is www.BabylonTours.com where all our tours and services are available to book.

4. Exceptions – Force Majeure
Refunds may be granted within 24 hours of the scheduled tour start only in cases of force majeure. Qualifying events include but are not limited to:
Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, wildfires).
Government actions (e.g., mandatory closures, travel bans, public health restrictions).
Acts of terrorism or civil unrest that make participation unsafe.
Sudden illness or emergency hospitalization (documentation may be required).
Please note that transportation delays or cancellations (e.g., flight, train, or traffic disruptions) are not covered under this exception and do not qualify for a refund.
All force majeure events qualifying for refund consideration must occur at the destination where the scheduled service is to take place. Disruptions, cancellations, or delays of trips, flights, trains, or other transportation outside the destination do not constitute force majeure under this policy and shall not entitle the customer to a refund from Babylon Tours. Any such events arising in a foreign country must be addressed directly with the relevant local insurance providers or administrative authorities.

5. Partial Refunds & Compensation
At Babylon Tours, we recognize that unexpected external factors may occasionally affect the delivery of our tours. In such cases:
If a portion of the tour cannot be delivered as originally planned due to factors beyond our control (e.g., museum closures, weather restrictions, or route changes), we will provide fair compensation or a partial refund.
The amount of compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the extent of the disruption and the services already provided.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in offering 5-star experiences. If, for any reason, you feel your tour did not meet expectations, we invite you to contact us. Our Satisfaction Guarantee Policy includes:
An open conversation to understand what went wrong.
A fair resolution that may include a full refund, a partial refund, or another form of compensation—whichever best suits the situation and the guest’s preference.
Our goal is for every guest to leave feeling valued and cared for, even if circumstances do not go as planned.
